In-vitro Evaluation of Fungicides against Leaf Spot and Flower Blight of Marigold

چکیده

Marigold belonging to family Asteraceae, are most common in plant kingdom. It is an important commercial ornamental and garden flower. found different colours fragrance. Yellow colour common. Leaf spot flower blight serious disease of marigold causing yield loss crop. The present investigation was carried out with objective study the efficacy new fungicides available market in-vitrocondition. Eleven such as azoxystrobin, tebuconazole, azoxystrobin + difenoconazole, tebuconazole sulphur, wet mancozeb, metalaxly, chlorothalonil, chlorothalonil metalaxly were evaluated at concentration 0.1%, 0.15% ,0.1%, 0.15%, 0.25%, 0.3%,0.2%, 0.3%, 0.3% respectively. it has been that combination recorded mycelia growth inhibition (97.30%) followed by sulphur (95.95%) Metalaxly 95.05%. least 18.47% wettable sulphur. Further effectiveness may be tested under field condition against Alternaria zinniae.
